Understanding the Problem
Current products don’t support college socializing and the use of on-person belongings. A seat attachment provides instant rest and opportunity to keep up with students’ active lives.

Prototyping
Through small foam core models to drilled and nailed together wooden blocks, I worked out the scale and mechanics of the seat folding.
Form Development
Medical devices often look sterile and immobile. By using the form language of a sports brand, such as Salomon, the seat allows the user to feel mobilized. Rapid trace-paper sketches allows me to iterate form quickly.
